The hunger pains have gotten better. My strength and energy have been returning.
And yet, I know it is not because of anything I am doing.
No caffeine, no meat, no sugar - I'm not relying on these things to give me any energy.
God has taken me into a weak place through this fast and then fulfilled His promise...
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” ~2 Corinthians 12:9
Our weak places are unique, but God uses each of those to show His strength in a new and personal way to us.
And we'd love to hear YOUR stories - how has God's strength shown up in your weaknesses during this fast?

So far during this fast, I've seen my reliance on food...for entertainment, for comfort, for special moments with my husband (baking cookies or going out to eat), etc. I've been reminded over & over when I want to turn to food, that I can just say a prayer that God would meet those needs. He will give me all I need for life & godliness.
